Behind the gate were pleasant, simple but elegant buildings with tiles of brick on the outside walls. There are several buildings which have western-style architecture in this Hanamachi. The elegant structure of the combined Western and Japanese seem to evoke a world of unreality to the visitors. The overwhelming elegancy expressed how wealthy Tatsumi was to Shuri, they then went towards the gate. A young man who sappeared to be an employee bows deeply to Tatsumi as he enters. Tatsumi : Put this boy in the bath , polish him beautifully. And without another word Tatsumi went off. Once, Tatsumi had vanished from the scene, Shuuri once again became uneasy. He does not understand anything around him, and is suddenly brought to this strange place. Besides, with his whole body covered in dirt and mud he felt out of place in such a grand and splendid building. While Shuri is feeling insecure the young servant went ahead down the corridor and he is taken to the bathroom. Employees bathed him slowly; brushed his skin carefully with a silky smooth movement. With the water flowing around his body, Shuris skin became transparently white once again, and his cheeks were slightly flushed.
